OPPORTUNITIES IN INDIA

Due to a tremendous response to our television ministry throughout India, we established an office in Hyderabad in 2007.  Jonathan Ratnam is the coordinator and directs the follow-up process.  He works with over 40 preachers in the Andhra Pradesh state distributing Bible study materials to those responding to the television messages. 

These studies are easy to read and understand and are available in two languages.  English is the second most spoken language in India.  Telugu is the third most popular language and is primarily spoken throughout Andhra Pradesh.  All of these studies are free to those requesting them.

Every year, Bret makes a trip to India to visit and encourage those working with the follow-up program.  While there, he speaks in a number of different places.  In addition to that, he also provides assistance to the Indian people in a variety of ways.

He purchases Telugu language Bibles for $3.00 each and song books for many individuals and congregations.  He also purchases bicycles for $75.00 each and sewing machines for $100.00 each.  The bicycles are made available to a number of preachers to use as they travel from village to village sharing the Good News with others.  The sewing machines are given to widows who have no other means of supporting themselves or their families.

Anyone is welcome to participate in this annual event by purchasing some Bibles, bicycles or sewing machines.  Donations are accepted any time and Bret usually makes his trip to India in July/August.  Please look at some of the short summary trips to get an idea of the wonderful people and opportunities to serve the Lord in India.
